Knives Out is a murder mystery movie that stars Daniel Craig, Ana de Armas, and Chris Evans. When Harlan Thrombey, the 85-year-old mystery novelist, was murdered in his home, Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is mysteriously hired to investigate the death. The whole family from Harlan's kids and grandkids are suspected in the murder case.

I really struggled to write that summary. It's the type of movie that I don't exactly know how to word it without accidentally giving something important away... that explains why it's so short. It's not short because I disliked the movie, it's only short because I loved the movie so much that I want everyone to fully enjoy the sheer suspense it brings.
I absolutely fell in love with the character Benoit Blanc. He says the corniest lines but the way Daniel Craig says them, it only gives me goosebumps because it's honestly so cool! For someone who's almost known for his British accent in many of his films, Craig does the absolute best Southern accent EVER!!! He honestly just makes the movie amazing and it wouldn't be the great movie it is without him.
I was really surprised to actually enjoy some of the family members and their personalities. The way the writers created them and the lines they were given just made them so excellent and in-depth. The sheer dysfunctionality that this family has is just hilarious and really makes me feel better about my odd family!
All I have left to say is that I have seen this movie near a hundred times and I'm still not tired of it. It has so much personality to it that it's not just a straightforward murder mystery and it's something I can watch over and over again just for the humor and characters :-)

I think that the only things worth noting in this movie are the language and a couple of violent/graphic scenes.
Language:
The language in this movie is kind of numerous and it includes the words "f**k", "sh**", "ass", "hell", "bastard", "b**ch", and "damn". These words are said in multiple variations throughout the whole movie. It's not an every-other-word type of thing but it's definitely noticeable when watching, especially with younger kids.
Sexual Content:
Honestly, the sexual content is kept to a minimum in this movie. It's limited to references about infidelity, masturbation (there's only one reference and it's not really dwelled upon), and other types of sex jokes/references.
Violence:
There are a couple of scenes that are kind of graphic but for a murder mystery, there isn't a whole bunch. There is one part where a character is overdosed on drugs and looks as though she's dead. When a light is shined on her face, you see a massive spider crawling on her. It's more creepy and gross than violent.
*Spoiler*
There is a scene where it shows a character slicing his throat. You see blood being spurted on the wall near him.
